Van itt egy idős skót bácsi, aki bemutatkozáskor a neve helyett mindig azt mondja, hogy always learning. Van itt egy kb harminc éves osztrák-kanadai lány, aki Afganisztánban és Tadzsikisztánban dolgozott a társadalom fenntartható átalakításán. Több Nature cikk szerző van körülöttem, mint ahányat egyáltalán olvastam, és van itt egy fickó, aki írt 40 éve egy könyvet, ami később sokak életét megváltoztatta, beleértve az enyémet meg mellesleg a tudományos közgondolkodást. Van még egy zenész, aki az ENSZ fenntartható fejlődés irodáját építi, de ide tartozik az ökológiai lábnyom megalkotója is. Ismét Magyarországon gyűlt össze a Balaton Csoport.

Membership means that (1) you will continue to receive (and be encouraged to participate in) the Balaton Group listserv, for as long as you keep us informed of your current address; (2) you may tell people that you are a member of the Group; and (3) you can use the network in any way that is professionally appropriate, to spread information, gather information, seek new collaborations, etc.
